September Club Activities

September 21, 2010— General Membership Meeting

9:30 A.M. Plant Market, Country Store, Specimen Display

10:00 A.M. Business Meeting: Welcome and introduction of new members.

10:30 A.M. Horticulture Workshop: Club member, Albert Chang, will present a workshop on “Garden Frugality 101."

Albert will share his innovative ideas for saving money .

11:00 A.M. Program: Kailay Uyu, of Pomona, will present a program on "Large Benefits of Small Gardens."

Kailay will have items for sale following her presentation.

12:00 P.M. Luncheon: BBI (Brown Bag It). Desserts provided by the Hostess Committee.

on “My Favorite Garden Tools ." Learn about the new ways to use old things..

11:00 A.M. Program: Club member, Ilona Buratti, will share her passion for deadheading with " Deadheading:

How to Fool Mother Nature.".

12:00 P.M. Luncheon: BBI (Brown Bag It). Desserts provided by the Hostess Committee.

 

December Club Activities

December 21 , 2010— General Membership Meeting

9:30 A.M. Plant Market, Country Store, Specimen Display

10:00 A.M. General Holiday Merriment

11:00 A.M. Program: Club member Robin Pokorski will lead a Homespun Holiday Party as our entertainment.

Tune up as Robin will be asking you to sing along for a couple of songs. Plan to bring a gift so you

can participate in our "Gift Exchange Game."

12:30 P.M. Luncheon: Lunch is a catered affair. Details will be announced in The Green Thumb.
